This is a friction folder, the first folder that I've made. If you are unfamiliar with the way a friction folder works, it is has a non locking blade. The tension provided by the pivot is the only thing that keeps the knife closed. The opening lever and your grip on the handle is keeps the blade from closing. A few custom makers have incorporated bottle openers on the opening lever. Until now, no one has made the opening lever a pry bar/wire stripper. I call it a Pryfricky.
